Feldt Design understands that everyone wants to be involved in the design process. We are the first to admit that design is fun and many people want to have a better understanding of what design is. Our mission at Feldt Design is to help our clients unlock their creative potential. Many of the designs that are executed at Feldt are art directed by our clients since they are the ones who will be utilizing the final design. Working with companies large and small, we have developed a vision far different from many of our competitors.

Feldt is the brainchild of Michael Ian Weinfeld. The beginnings of his graphic design career is based in his time spent in Architectural school. Building models, preparing drawings by hand, and dealing with type on a huge sheet of vellum, deciding how to use the page and layout all the elements led to the natural gravitation to graphic design. When he decided to make the switch to graphic design at SVA in New York City.

He worked in the field of graphic design even before graduation his first job was doing blue lines and tissues for display ads in the back of the New York Times. Also while still an undergrad Michael Ian work at Fox News Channel. Prior to the launch he helped develop the look of the logo for the network and work on on air graphics for the news broadcasts and print production projects. Later working for other networks including CBS and ABC Michael Ian mastered building informational graphics.Which led to a job in the financial field working on investment maps and presentations for Travelers and Salomon Smith Barney.

Moving from televisions to the finical field final led Michael Ian to Advertising where he began to work for all the great names in advertising at the time. Duetsch inc, Saatchi & Saatchi, and BBDO are just a few of the firms that he freelanced at in the 90′s. This is where he fell in love with print design and production and began to specialize as production artist.

His skills are not limited to just one specific area of design. He has worked in the both the advertising and retail side of graphic design and marketing getting a firm grasp on how the entire system works.
